I am so excited to share that today I made a lot of progress on my books! I have brought to life two kids books, published them, and ordered copies. Today, I received copies of the second book. It is thrilling to open that box, pull out the book, and be able to hold it in your hands.
Today, I figured out how to offer these books via Kindle. They are both up and running! I am elated and want to share these creations with the world. The Nested Family is based around creating products that help family connect and bond for a lifetime…this is my passion. Now, I have been able to include one’s pet dog. (I am smiling as I type this 😊)
In my last blog post, I said I would share more about my journey. I do not know where to begin so I will start from now and go backward in time with each blog post.
I am HUGE on family. Family, to me, can be immediate or extended family; it can be guardians or friends. We get to choose who we keep close to us, but we should be there for those who need us. I divorced about 3 years ago and not an easy decision after 27 years of being together and raising a family. I still love and care about him and he is still family; I choose that.
The family I was brought up in is far from perfect; divorced, alcoholism, and drug abuse is a part of it. You learn a lot, but my love is still there as my parents and siblings were filled with love, even with the trials and tribulations of their lives. I know love is not in every families’ bloodline and that is why I am clarifying what my thoughts are about the word family.
The point I am trying to make by choosing the above message about my journey is that FAMILY is our choice. FAMILY is people who will always be there for you, and you will be there for them, even during hard times. When we have kids, and this is where my HEART is, we should do everything we can to provide for them and love them. We should do our best to raise wonderful souls, and to bond with them for eternity.
