Blog Post – February 1, 2022

I did not post yesterday because I work full time and after work, I had a different priority. On my way home from work, I went to the hospital to see a dear friend. Family and friends always come first.

I do not like to give health advice, but I am going to here. My friend, who is in the hospital, smoked her whole life and has stage 4 COPD. She is in the hospital and her lungs are infected. The hospital is having a hard time getting the infection under control. I believe she will be okay, and I pray for her to get well soon. Stage 4 COPD is not curable, but it can be managed.

Of course, we always look back and say, “I wish I would have…” and that is what she has been saying for the last 5 years, since she was diagnosed. My husband smokes and that is one thing that we talk about often. I would like him to quit so we can live a long life together.

I won’t blog every day, but I will try to do it as often as I can as I want to share my life experiences and my hope is that I can help others in some small way. I have been through a lot and have learned as I went along. I have made mistakes and learned from them.  I have many past experiences, and will have new experiences, that I will share as I go along. Some will be very personal, some fun, some sad, and hopefully I offer some ideas for your relationships, health, raising kids, etc. that will be interesting and helpful.

Tonight, I will post some crafts and fun ideas for Valentine’s Day. I always loved doing these kinds of activities with my kids. It is an opportunity to have fun and get creative! I hope you enjoy your day!
