Since moving into my condominium, today is the first day that I did not make my bed. Just a couple of minutes ago, I walked by my bedroom and was surprised to see that my bed was unmade! I decided to walk right past my bedroom, go directly into my office and start drafting some articles. I know if I had taken the detour into my bedroom, I would have become sidetracked. I walked straight into my office and here I am writing this blog post! It actually feels wonderful to, in a way, be proud of myself.
Today, I visited the rehabilitation center where my cousin is checked in due to a broken femur. He will be in rehab for at least another month due to the inability to put any weight on his leg. It was wonderful to chat with him and his wife for a couple of hours and catch up on things that have happened in our lives. I do not see my extended family enough…a statement to ponder and make some changes.
My life has changed a bit over the last couple of months and I will share a little piece with each My Journey Blog post. For now, I will say that I purchased a condominium, live closer to work, and have additional time to spend on writing and creating products that will help families connect and bond for a lifetime. Over the last couple of weeks, I have created two kids books that are almost ready to take live on this site. I have one in hand and expect the other in about one week.
